If you were around yesterday during the Golden Hour, you saw a medium-sized mob ambling down Haight Street with a big sign that read GOLDEN GATE COMMONS / STOP PRIVATIZATION = 1%.
Rec and Park Bulldozes the Recycling Center
flickr/Steve Rhodes It’s been a rough week down at the recycling center. The Sheriff’s Department went through with eviction proceedings last Wednesday, and yesterday Rec and Park showed up with a bulldozer.
So, What’s the Status of the Recycling Center?
It has closed, but HANC’s contentious battle with the city and the neighborhood isn’t over yet.
HANC Meeting Tonight: Panhandle, Bike Lanes, Streets
Tonight at the Page Branch library, at 7 PM, HANC is holding a community meeting to discuss upcoming changes to traffic patterns in the area.
